01 / The battlefield
Two castles.
One moving frontline.
Black-and-white, hand-drawn characters bring the battle to life. Your castle and the enemy castle stand at opposite ends of a side-scrolling battlefield. Protect yours while advancing to destroy theirs.

Choose the force.
Time the push.
Units differ in attack power, health, attack range, movement speed, and Mana cost. A strong army starts with choosing the right troops for the battle in front of you.

- Look at the opposing formation and how quickly it is advancing.

- Choose units that suit your current frontline and available Mana.

- Deploy several units in a short period to build a concentrated offensive and break through the enemy defense.
03 / Ranged support
Your castle
can fight back.
The bow mounted on your castle is part of your defense. Adjust its firing angle and shoot arrows to damage approaching enemies, weaken their frontline, and support your troops.
When Mana runs low or enemies close in, well-aimed bow support becomes especially important.

Shoot arrows to damage enemies before they reach your castle.

Give troops room.

04 / The Mana system
Spend now.
Or build your moment.
Mana regenerates over time and is spent each time you deploy a unit. The Mana Booster behind your castle supports the resource supply that keeps your army moving.
- Increase your capacity
- Upgrade the Mana Booster to raise the maximum amount of Mana you can hold.
- Improve production
- Booster upgrades also increase the Mana production rate, letting you deploy units more quickly.
The decision: reinforce the frontline immediately, or save Mana for a larger, coordinated offensive.

Make every battle
build the next.
Earn Gold in battle, then invest it in the parts of your army and defenses that need strengthening. Better upgrades give your next attempt a stronger foundation.

06 / Stages & progression
Win the stage.
Then raise the stakes.
Destroy the enemy castle within 20 minutes to clear a stage. As you progress, enemy numbers, unit combinations, and overall battle difficulty increase.
Keep adapting your deployment order, Mana allocation, and ranged support as each new challenge arrives.
A faster clear, an extra reward
Clearing within 10 minutes awards a one-time bonus red gem.
Stuck on a stage? Come back stronger.
Earlier unlocked stages give you a way to earn more Gold and prepare for another attempt.

Use the directional arrows to choose a previously unlocked stage.

Return to earlier stages and earn additional Gold through battles.

Upgrade your units, castle, bow, and Mana systems.

Return to the difficult stage with stronger defenses and a revised strategy.
07 / Take control
Tap. Aim.
Take command.
Deploy from the on-screen buttons and direct ranged support from your castle. An optional tilt setting gives you another way to move the battlefield view.
Deploy your units
Choose a unit from the deployment buttons. Each summon spends that unit’s required Mana.
Aim your support
Adjust the castle bow’s angle and fire arrows at enemies to support your advancing troops.
Move the view
Enable the optional tilt-control setting to move the battlefield view by tilting your device.
